This project is read-only.

The Daffodil MSI installs files in "%ProgramFiles%\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\Platforms\*\PlatformToolsets" subdirectories for each supported platform. No out-of-the-box Visual Studio files are modified, and no registry keys are created or modified. Simply install and use by changing Platform Toolset in general configuration properties of your native projects within the Visual Studio 2010 IDE. The targeted build tools must be installed on the build system.

If you're not sure what native multi-targeting is, read more about it here:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/vcblog/archive/2009/12/08/c-native-multi-targeting.aspx

The design goal of Daffodil is to make it possible to convert older native and mixed projects and build them seamlessly in Visual Studio 2010 simply by changing the platform toolset. In addition to building seamlessly, the project's property pages should display correct and legal values for the targeted build tools, and those properties should be correctly mapped to command line options for the tool. It is very likely that some inter-version differences in tool command line options have been overlooked, so if you encounter any problems or errors, please report them here in the issue tracker so they can be fixed.

If you have any problems or questions about Daffodil, please start a new discussion topic instead of replying here.
